Abstract

The article describes a small bronze statuette of a two-humped Bactrian camel, which is a quite rare finding. This sculptural image of two-humped camel belongs to the collection of archaeological objects discovered during the recent years, most probably, on the surface of one of urban settlement sites in the Chuy Valley in the northern part of Kyrgyzstan. Currently, this statuette is deposited in the private museum “Rarity” in Bishkek. The comprehensive description of this sculptural image of the animal is provided. The arguments in favour of chronological attribution and cultural identity of this rare archaeological finding are proposed.
