Abstract

The site of Pritubinsk I in Minusinsky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai was discovered in 1988. The research of the site in 2017 made it possible to gather an extensive collection of stone artifacts and faunal material from the lower cultural layer. The total number of lithic artifacts, which include wedge-shaped microcores, burins, and end-scrapers, is 446. The “bag” with ten tightly placed stone artifacts (end-scrapper, burin, knife-like tool, retouched and unretouched flakes) are of particular interest. Pritubinsk I is the most remote site of the Kokorevo culture in Siberia to the southeast from the Yenisei River. The preliminary dating of the site is the Final Pleistocene period.
